Aussie Hero Quilt Continued.
This time instead of joining them together in blocks of 3 and then joining the rows 4 times I am making them in blocks of 5 and then joining the 3 rows together. The outside rows are done, the middle row is left to do. The fabric used to join them all is a paisley print, a very hippy vibe. Meggie is helping.

Aussie Hero Quilt Started.
This is the start of my next Aussie Hero quilt. The request is for Hippy, Dreamcatcher.
I made the templates using the middle of a cake stand and a free hand template.
I am going to have fun with this one, I am thinking peace sign and kombi van.

Aussie Hero Treats.
These are the Tim Tams I usually buy to put in the Aussie Hero packages. Normally in Woolworths they are $4 something, and $4 on special. Today I bought them in The Reject Shop for $2.
This is $40 worth, The lovely lady gave me her staff discount when I told her who they were for and this gave me 3 extra packets. Thank you for your support.

Playing Cards.
See the little hand made purse in the lower corner? Originally I had made them for Thank you gifts for the ladies at Spotlight, but at the last minute I thought of taking them to club and selling them to get some things for the gift packs for Aussie Heroes, Well I sold them all. The cards in the picture I have bought this morning will be split up and put into their gift packages, So thanks guys. You are all heroes in my book.
This is what I will be doing this afternoon, making fabric pouches to hold the cards in. I will be starting again with the purses for my Christmas gifts for the lovely ladies in Spotlight.

Trip To Savers Greesnsborough.
Yesterday I had a lovely phone call from a friend, She was going to Savers in Greensborough, would I like to come? A day out was a very welcome break and I had not seen her in ages so Yes! I was very lucky indeed and found these bargains. This lovely rocking horse, it has a sound in it too. It neighs and a lovely clip clop sound too by touching the ears. It's mouth and tail moves as well. Perfect for a birthday on Saturday.
This lovely huge roll of cotton fabric with gold accents.
A pair of cotton horsey curtains, perfect for when a horse quilt request comes up.
Lovely details.
Total spend on the day, $30. Great value. Thank you for a lovely day out.
