Quilt And Masks

 These are what I have made today so far.

 A couple of days ago. I have made more than these but forgot to take pictures. More to make in the next couple of days too.

Almost finished.

All the paint has been heat set, Ironed and stitched. Just hand sewing the openings closed.

New Project.

 I am making this for my Grandsons first birthday using Helen Goddens pattern.

 This is the first one. I have made it a 5 inch size. Quilted it and painted it and added the backing. Then I have contacted the picture and added card stock to the back.

This is the back. This will then be a game of match the picture.

Todays Project.

Yesterday was all about curves. Today, I thought I would do a painted piece about straight lines.

Quicky Brooches.

 Using multiple sheets of the same tags I am cutting them out and layering them to make brooches.

Glueing them onto wooden discs and hot glue a pin back.

Quilt And A Bag.

 Aussie Hero quilt finished.

 Today I made myself a bag. I used 3 of the wonderful kitty fabrics my son and his girlfriend bought for me when they went on holiday to Japan.

Applique.

 Today has been all about the applique.

Need to do one more forest animal then ready to sew and then put together.

Daughters Quilt Continued.

 This is the final layout. The top and bottom rows are trees and mushrooms.

This is the first block assembled. Top and bottom blocks will be put together in groups of 3 and the 2 centre blocks will be put together in groups of 2 then the blocks put together into rows and finally the rows put together.

More Blocks Completed.

Gift For My Daughter.

This is a wall hanging I have made for my daughter. Helen Godden pattern Birds and Australian flowers. A couple of my own blocks thrown in.

Laundry Bags And Wall Hanging.

 This week I made 10 random laundry bags.

Continuing with the wall hanging. 1 more block to make then ready to assemble. I have added two tabby cats to represent my daughters cats.

Op Shopping. Christmas In July.

 As per usual, when I am out and about I look in op shops for bargains. This is what I found today, Epping Salvos. netting and a lightweight tape. Total spend, $14.00.

 This is what it is for, making produce bags to use instead of plastic when you shop. I will be making 3 of these to go into the prize pack of bags for the Christmas in July fundraiser.

 This is the large lined shopping bag the last of the prize pack. 7 bags in total. 3 mesh bags, 3 fold up bags and this large tote.

 I am making gift bags for the people at the fundraiser, (You have to have gifts at a Christmas party, and I don't do food!) Handles for the large tote and all the bits to make a mesh produce bag. Bag instructions written in the card.

Packages in this paper gift bag. I am making 30 of them. If I have time I will make some mesh bags for sale and all proceeds to go to the charity.

New Project. Gift For My Daughter.

 This is going to be a huge project. My daughter has a wall that is double height. She wants a wall hanging that is 90cms by 190cms. Trees with birds, cats and flowers. I am going to quilt it onto a hessian backing.

Makes.

 This is the stuffing for the pincushions. I compressed the air out so it takes up less space,

 cut the card on the bottom so that it fits, the card had the instructions and the photo, the envelope holds all the contents.

The stuffing in a separate bag and it all fits inside a sandwich bag.
