Captain Cook Doll Continued.
Today I met the original Captain Cook (known to the kids as Cookie) and his chair all the way from NSW. Mal Nicolson gave me some details on how important the doll is to the school.
He is very happy with how my interpretation of the doll is progressing. Always a good sign. My Captain Cook sitting in the chair, a good fit.
The kids will be given a link to see how the doll is made and the references I have used in making him. I have been given $50 for postage and if it costs more they will happily make it up in the form of a Spotlight voucher but I am pretty sure it will be fine.
