This is what I have been doing today, hand painted middle segment of the Afghanistan flag for a quilt two quilts away.Not finished yet, I have the gold to add after the white has dried.

Look wake and on the quilt as I am laying it out. All the blocks are quilted, need to measure and cut the 2nd row to make it fit then ready to join them all up.
