Tree Is Up

This is what i am working on this morning, Christmas Coasters for my son and his girlfriend who came by yesterday to put up our tree and hang the wreath on the door. We are invited to a Christmas Lunch at their place with Renees family too, I thought these will make nice little keepsakes.

Pincushion and Decoration Swap

At our Christmas Party at the cloth Doll Club last weekend we had a Christmas Tree Decoration and a Pincushion Swap, These are what i got! I love this red beaded crochet decoration but it is too heavy for the tree so i have it on a door handle.
and the Pincushion is this, It is delicately hand stitched in varigated threads. As usual, the different kinds of things made was fabulous.

Party and Swap

I was recently in an internet swap and one of my partners Natalie sent me this, a lovely handmade wallet with tea sachets, some handmade lavender Tea bags, and a delightful teapot shaped china trivet and a little gold teapot charm, Very nice indeed!

At out cloth doll club we had our Christmas party, I thought you might like to see some of the winning doll of the month to be voted on as doll if the year. The winning doll was the one in green.

Paper Decorations

I am making today some paper decorations using old Christmas cards and old cheap ones we have not used. These can either be put onto string and make a garland or a loop added to hang on a tree. What you need per decoration, 5 circles folded in half with picture side inside. craft glue. glue white side glue sides together and you end up with a ball.
