Batman Cape.

A different kind of sewing the last few days, A Batman cape. Too big for my dressmakers dummy to show it off properly. This thing is huge! It has rods in the front edges so that my son can open it up to the full span. Final alterations will happen when he finishes work. The leather look fabric outer and nylon inner was a pain to work with and had me in tears yesterday, Best thing to do was walk away for a little while and calm down! I thought it was not going to happen at one point. 8 metres of outer and 8 metres of lining, 8 panels. Thank goodness for 40% off in Spotlight.
