Laundry Bag Preparation.

 Today I have been ironing all the fabric I have prepared for the laundry bag linings and sewing them ready for the outer bag requests.

This is just a few of the laundry bag tops I have made ready for laundry bags. This is from the Hard Yakka trousers.

Quilt Finished.

 The quilt request for a friend is finished. Normally I do not make things other than for charity and community, but I made an exception here, a donation to the GoFundMe for Jan-Maree was acceptable in this case.

Look What Arrived In The Post!

 Look what arrived in the post today, A Care package of my own! You can imagine my surprise and confusion when I saw it. I thought at first that it was the quilt coming back to me until a closer look and read the description. Excitement and wonder took the place of in trepidation, this is what it must feel like to open a package!

This is the contents of the box. The zip pull he has made himself, as well a a lovely letter and photo  him holding his quilt.

All the blocks are ready to assemble tomorrow. I will be adding button eyes and going to do some binding on the Aussie Hero quilt.

Kids Quilt Continued.

All the white blocks are quilted and assembled ready to blanket stitch all around.

Almost Finished And Next One Started.

 The binding needs to be hand stitched on the back then it will be finished.

 This next quilt is for a friends daughter who has donated to the Gofundme for Aussie Heroes. Her request is for penguins, teal and coral.This is the next one started. I thought I might like to show you how I do the applique using a colouring book page.
