Almost Ready To Assemble The Blocks.

 The back is fine. This will have visible sashings.

The front has one block that needs re doing. The lower left block is incorrect. Once I have fixed it then it is ready to assemble. I am making good use of the cooler weather today. No sashings on the front.

Aussie Hero Quilt Progress.

Blocks in progress. Very masculine but colourful. Sashings on the back but not on the front. This will be a double sided quilt.

Aussie Hero Quilt Started.

 Yesterday I filled the dried out markers with fabric dyes. I will let you know if they were successful.
I have them stored in a separate container in a zip lock bag.

 The quilt request was for Aussie bush, outback colours i.e. okra, browns, greens etc.  Background with wattle, bottlebrush etc. the 2nd, 3rd and 5th fabrics are donated ones, and the 5th fabric is called Bush Potatoes. The 2 lower fabrics will be the borders.

 This is the backing fabric and laundry bag fabric.

 This is the front. Request was for coffee and no time for hobbies but likes working on the planes. The coffee items are made using planes print fabric.
