Aussie Hero Quilt started.

Started this quilt yesterday and due the same time as the female dancing quilt (end of June). This one is for a male, request is for blue, fishing, Southern Cross.
In the light blue squares I will either hand drawing or making appliques for bait, reels and other fishing items (not decided how I will do them yet) and in the long blue panels on either side I will be drawing or appliqueing fishing rods. The Southern Cross stars will be appliqued on the back.

Next Aussie Hero Quilt.

This next quilt request is for Red, blue and green, dancing, shopping beach. This one will have a laundry bag too.
 I will be starting this tomorrow. This afternoon I will be practicing some blocks on other fabrics to decide how I would like to do it.

Batting And Sewing.

 I thought I might share how I have my batting stored. I do this for all the fabric rolls I have.
I get 2 kitchen garbage bags, the kind that is on a roll, using two bags one on each side, cut the handles and bow them to each other. This makes them easy to keep dust free, plus these are lemon scented! Larger rolls? Use larger bags.

Quilt top complete. Ready to sandwich together with pins. This is how I have it on my table.

Aussie Hero Quilt Started.

Yesterday I started another Aussie Hero Quilt. This one is for a female, the description request was for a pink, blue, green pastel and floral quilt. every other block will be blue with white sashings and pink corner blocks. The binding will be green and the backing fabric I will show you on another post. I have another 2 requests after this all due by the end of June.
