 This is the Aussie Hero quilt blocks I have put together from the fabric and partially assembled quilt as you go blocks from Jan-Maree.

I have decided to make it a truly double sided quilt.

Hobby Horse

 First hobby horse is almost done. I need to get some O and D rings to replace the elastic on the harness. That is just temporary.

The wheels I have added to the bottom.
I can recommend this pattern as the instructions and step by step pictures are fantastic.

 I thought you might like to see the doll, So very nearly finished, Just waiting on the shoe buckles to arrive.

Spotlight Shopping.

 Went to Spotlight today at South Morang and bought these cotton tablecloths, 150cm x 300cm for $5 each. They will be quilt backs and laundry bags for Aussie Hero quilts.

 I also bought the faux suede for the hobby horses with 40% off.

Also this quilting cotton fabric at $4 per metre for the Aussie Hero quilts.

 I bought the steel tubing rods for the hobby horses from Bunnings at $1 each and some stoppers for the ends that I will add the wheels that I have left over from a previous project.
