All the paint has been heat set, Ironed and stitched. Just hand sewing the openings closed.

New Project.

 I am making this for my Grandsons first birthday using Helen Goddens pattern.

 This is the first one. I have made it a 5 inch size. Quilted it and painted it and added the backing. Then I have contacted the picture and added card stock to the back.

This is the back. This will then be a game of match the picture.

All about making cards today. I was down to my last 2 cards so now I am making more so that I can have them ready to go.

One word request, Mountains. Whilst it was not a request I had asked for, it was however one I was asked to do with very little time. Thinking about the fabric I have on hand I had these two ombre fabrics, brown and black. Next thought, Keep it Simple. Make a single block and repeat. Blue and black masculine colours. Wanting to keep the fronts simple I quilted the batting on the back first then appliqued the fronts. Start to finish, 4 days.
