Aussie Hero Quilt Requests.

I am working on 2 quilts at once. Both have the same request, Africa and UN flag. I have taken two simple images of sunsets and printed them on photo paper for the clearest colouring and painted them onto fabric using Inktense sticks and pencils. The one on the left has been left to cure for a day, Ironed and heat set, washed and ironed again. The one on the right is still wet, I will leave it to dry and do the same as the other one.

Layout of the quilt is done, Just need to applique the words on the block then assemble.

Another part of the request is for Shades of blue. This is it started. Quilt as you go method.

This is block 1 of the next Aussie Hero quilt started. The words will be appliqued on after. First though I have to leave it to dry before heat setting it with an iron.
