Quick Little Project.

I used Setasilk paints on unwashed calico diluted and salt on this piece.

 Quilted on my Sweet 16. Helen Goddens pattern. Arty Farty Sunflowers comes with 3 flower pictures. This is the poppy block from that set.

What I am Up To

This is a bear I have made using a pattern designed to be used for charity called Honey from www.funkyfriendsfactory.com I have used my blanket material. Lovely and soft and cuddly. I have also used child safety eyes.
Currently I am working on some flower brooches, these are the knitted leaves that I am making and currently I am felting them. The felted leaves are on the left.

Knitting and Swaps

This knitting is the second piece of knitting my niece has made. An eyelet lace blanket. She is doing very very well. I have given her a lesson on crochet this week and she is enjoying her new found love of crafts.
I am taking part in an internet swap at the moment, Look at what came in the post. A very lovely ginger and white kitty! Her paws are weighted and she can sit lovely on her bottom. She is made of polar fleece which is blanket stitch all around.
I just had to give you all a close up of her face and chest. Look at the lovely fish on the collar and such delightful stitching. I am one very lucky lady indeed!
