Cards And Bags.

 More prep work for my Aussie Hero gift packs this morning. The lovely red embossed stock card is from Kaylee, a lovely gift that arrived in my post box a couple of days ago. Thank you so very very much. I printed off another lot of postcards from my stash of photo papers.

 All set and ready to sew this afternoon. A set of 4 laundry bags. The front one is a special request one.

This is a close up snippet of what I have been doing today.
Hand drawn fishing lures and fishing reels.
These are the products I have used. Ikea textile markers. However having done a search for them they don't seem to have them in store, I did however find an equivalent product that I would like to buy and try next, Crayola Textile Markers from Officeworks.

Kitties and Charity Stuff.

 How much I love my kitties! I have been sitting on this to do my sewing this morning because,

 Meggie took my seat!
I have been busy making the blocks and today I am putting the quilt top together.

 At the cloth doll club  A.C.D.A (the link is on the right hand side of my blog), on Saturday I came home with several things to use for charity, These books with volumes to 31

 These blocks have been made already. I will have fun making up the rest and these will be turned into comfort blankets for this charity,

 Tilli in the hallway. Lovely and cool.

I also have been given these two large boxes full of fabric with the promise that they will be used for charity. (A friend of a friend donated these she is downsizing). There are some cottons, (quilt blocks and sashings will be made with those). Some ribbing I will use on the charity dresses (T Shirt tops with an added skirt) and a couple of larger fabrics I will use for the Angels for the Forgotten Charity on the comfort blankets as backing. Thank you so much for trusting me with this.

Pin Cushion.

The main part of the house pin cushion had been made. The embellishments have been chosen, this afternoon I will be putting it altogether.

The thread holder, thread and needles another Savers bargain in Greensborough yesterday, $3 I had no Idea I would be using it so soon. It has a heap of spare thread holders too. 

I will be attaching it to the wooden base for the spool holder that I have covered with felt and added a broken tape measure around it. I made the house with wool and felt.

 These 4 laundry bags were made yesterday afternoon.

These were made this morning. All ready to post. This afternoon I will be making cards.

Laundry Bag Preparation.

 Tilli is happy to watch me work from above. (really she wants to get inside the built in robe).

 This afternoon I spent the time cutting the fabric I that was posted to me this week.The total is cut out and ready to sew are 28 laundry bags in 7 different styles.
