Fat 1/4 Tote.

 This is my Fat 1/4 tote bag from my original design, fabric from Crafty Hijinks freebies,

 Zips and webbing from Savers.

I am happy how it turned out. Next time though I will make the straps in the same fabric as the bag.

Mr Men and Little Miss Appliques

The large appliques are finished, ready to be Ironed onto the school couch in the library. On the sides will be the yellows, then on the back will be the orange, then the blue then the red. All that will be left to do is re cover the seating cushions using the same fur fabric I used on the Library Story telling chair and it will all be tied in together.

School Library Chair Makeover.

All the characters I am putting on the chair is done. Added Hairy Maclary. Panda has his kite too.
At the top of the tree is a wool nest and fabric eggs. The fairies have been glued into place.
View from the back.
The other side. I went over all the drawings with a thicker texta. and added more colour.
Front view. I changed the seat to a bluey/green fur, for more pop.
The bottom of the tree has windows made of pearly shells, a face in the trunk, a frog and a lamp and finally a fairy door. All decorated with findings.

School Stuff.

The hand Puppets for the Art room finished.

Fairy Footstool/Seat.

This Fairy footstool/seat is now finished and will be given to my niece as soon as I see her, I hope she likes it.

School Chairs.

Back of hot pink chair headrest. This is black velvet vliesofix onto the the front of the back rest on the chair. This now ties in the black of the frame of the chair and it all makes sense. I took a picture at the last minute before the chairs got picked up today. I had approval of all the chairs which makes me so happy! Purple Fair Chair.

I remembered to take a picture this time before it goes to it's new home in the school.

School Play.

Yesterday was the final rehearsal and finishing touch ups on costume and props. I was there back stage and could hear what was happening on stage and the kids were fantastic! They had the first performance last night, i hope it went well, I will be there tonight to watch it finally, all the weeks of preparation have been worth it. I hope i will be able to blog some pictures from the play.
