erasable pens with filled bobbins and pins, 40 of them. These I will give one to each attending member of ACDA for the Christmas In July fundraising event this Saturday.

Savers Shopping.

Look what I bought today in Savers Mill Park! Total cost was $16. Cord for the bags, binding for the quilts, I am thinking for the handkerchiefs, quilt block backs.
I could not believe it when I by chance turned around and saw this book! $3 I had this book many years ago and put it into savers 4 years ago and have been looking for a copy for maybe a year now. So happy! Total spent in Savers was $19 a really good day.

Savers Shopping.

After I posted my parcel this morning and before I start the next project as always I pop in my local Savers to see what they have. Score! I found a pair of cotton curtains for $4 each, the size, 45 inches by 80 inches, Perfect for quilt backs.
I also bought this heavy weight cotton sheet, (I always look for white) The border will be great to use too!
I could not believe my luck when I saw this, a cotton doona cover, this is the front, I will cut them out and use them in a block with the recipients favourite colours and colour the cats in as well. The Aussie Hero quilt I am going to start next has her request for cats, and/or horses, Royal blue, purple and teal. so that is what I will colour the cats in. I will cut them out first, arrange them then colour them in. So Much Fun!
This is the back of the doona cover. I will use some of this as the binding too.
