FRIENDS Swap

This is the package of FRIENDS gifts that my partner Illene received today. F, fingerless gloves, R rose scissor keep and scissors, I iron mat, E embellishments, buttons threaders and thread, N needles and notebook, D dyes and lastly S scarf. My partners favourite colours were green and pink. She was very happy with what I had made, and I had great fun.

Tic Tac Toe

Hand sewing left to do to enclose the cardboard and to complete the box game of Tic Tac Toe.
The Oranges and Lemons game pieces including using the green beads and the pipe cleaners. I will post the finished project later on tonight.

Almost There...

Day 3 of the Clean Up, and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have got 3 bags of stuff to take to the op shop, all the recycling part is done, now all i have to do is sort what i am keeping into categories and put them into boxes and label them. then dust and vaccuum. I need to go out and buy some plastic boxes. Looking forward to having a bit of space.

Valentine Sewing Challenge

Charming Chatter is having a Valentines Sewing Challenge.

and you're invited. On Saturday, January 23, we'll be staying in to sew something for Valentines Day, and if you're free, we'd love for you to join us!

I love this idea, and as i also have 2 swaps, that is my goal to start and finish them so that i can post them before Feb 1st my own imposed deadline.
