Aussie Hero Stuff.
Painting done. Leaving it to dry for 2 days then heat setting it. I will then add stitching details over the top and quilting it.
Mark bought me a gift for the Aussie Hero care packages. Great stuff.

Quilt Block In Progress.
Fabric painting. Easy and quick.
I printed the image onto tracing paper, taped the paper onto cardstock and fed it through my printer from the rear. This then became my sewing lines. I then used masking tape to hold it down onto the fabric and stitched over it. easy to take off once it was all stitched. Now it is ready for painting.

Recieved Fabric Donations.
This is the fabric donation I received from Joy of Mill Park yesterday. Fabric for Aussie Hero Quilts and Laundry Bags.
This is the fabric I received today from Kerry of Coburg today. Also $20 that I will use for Tim Tams when they are on special. I will have to get a plastic tub for all of it. Amazing stuff. Thank you both very very much.

Surprise Meeting.
This is Tom. One of my Laundry bag recipients. He and his lovely partner Jessica and their baby Ollie surprised me by knocking on my door on Monday morning.
He was on board ship when he chose my laundry bag with the note/card inside.
How small is this world really, The amazing thing is that Jessica grew up in Mill Park where I live, and her parents still do live there, so that is how they popped in, They were visiting Jessica's parents.
They popped in to Spotlight South Morang and told them who they were getting the fabric for and of course all the staff know me well and had such nice things to say about me. How Perfectly wonderful the whole visit was.
