This is how I put the blocks together. I stitched them down in pairs.
Then I added the last row.
Keeping them joined, I stitched the rows together.
Tilli says, "Enough mum!, Give me some attention". so I did!
All the blocks are sewn, now I am adding the sashings, corner stones and guitars row by row. I am so happy with my table that I can keep them set out as I sew, no problems with getting the blocks out of order.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue Love the fabric. My technique is to chain piece, and when I'm doing 9 patches, I chain piece the lot in sequence, which is so easy to do and it saves a surprising amount of thread. I hate changing bobbins after "air sewing"! Anyway to save thread is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteThe recipient of this quilt is really going to love it for such a long time.
