Pincushions

http://thehouseonthesideofthehill.blogspot.com.au/ lead me to this,
http://www.sewwequilt.com/2013/09/welcome-to-pin-it-pin-cushion-blog-hop.html and got me reminiscing about the pincushions I have made.
This one is a full sized tea pot, original design that I made for my mum.
She collects real china tea pots.
This is another tea pot I made for my mum. This one is a needlefelted pot about 2cms in size.
This one is an arm chair I made for a swap. The cushion on the chair is a covered tape measure, which gives you the size comparison.
These thumb pincushions are what I am currently making.
This is a scissor fob on a retractable cord. (Id card holder originally) I added a pin back to the back and a pincushion to the front. All given away as gifts.
This one is also large. The tin came first. Made for a swap.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the pincushions I have made.
Take a look at the others on http://www.sewwequilt.com/2013/09/welcome-to-pin-it-pin-cushion-blog-hop.html

  2. Love them all (and proud owner of the thumb cushion!). The teapot one at the top is gorgeous. I have a similar one that I bought at our Guild's gift shop a few years ago. Everyone who sees it admires it.

  3. What great pincushions. The little arm chair is cute and I love the fruit cake. Your original design teapot is such a good shape.
