Well last week I had a lovely reply from Mick the Manager of the Greensborough branch letting me know that he had some rolls of fabric I might like to take a look at. this is the store details.
108/114 Main St, Greensborough VIC 3088
I did that today, The brown is a medium weight cotton that all my bags will have for lining from now on! The other fabrics are rolls of polar fleece that will be toys for the Angels for the Forgotten Charity using this pattern especially designed for charity use.

as well as other patterns that I have been given permission to use.
I also got these lovely quilt covers from the Savers with an added discount of 25%. Throughout this searching I must have talked non stop about Aussie Hero Quilts because Mick said to call him again later on if I need more help. How great is that for service! All in all it cost me a round $100. Fantastic value, I am glad I had savings put aside for charity use.
Just because she is so cute!
Brilliant Sue
ReplyDeletethat will keep you busy for awhile and you have saved a lot of money, well done.xx
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful Sue - people can be very generous at times - much like you are with all of your charity sewing!
ReplyDeleteThat's great Sue! The way I see it is that because you are donating your time for a charitable cause, the Savers management are happy to support you because they are in the same business, so to speak.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to next Monday ;-) Hubby tried to derail my plans with plans of his own, but once I said I was picking up a bunch of quilts for the PNG Quilt Collective, he immediately backed off. Well, seeing it is his cousin I'm doing it for, he had no choice - lol!
