Lol! Sandy helping with the quilt. A change of direction, the fabrics I had previously used for this quilt was making it too busy, those blocks have been put aside for a future quilt, This will be all the same fabrics instead making the flags pop.

I then went about to look for a substitute as I will be doing a lot of free motion work and these products are not readily available locally.

So we went out to look for something similar. This is what I found. 2 sheets for $15 in Harris Scarfe on special, saving $20.

Making A Gift.

 I am finally starting a quilt for my nieces baby girl, Princess quilt and toy from the book Happy Quilts by Antonie Alexander. these are the fabrics I will be including in the quilt. Long overdue, and when she announced she is expecting a baby mid year, I thought I should get a wriggle on. I will be changing it a bit. I plan to work on it one day a week.
