Parcel Of Fabric For Aussie Heroes.

 The Lovely Mae from NSW posted to me this lovely fabric for a Special Request quilt. Muscle cars.

Aussie Hero Quilt In Progress.

This special request Aussie Hero quilt request is for a Royal Australian Engineer (RAE). The only thing he requsted was for his name and his Great Grandfathers name who was an ANZAC. The middle block will have their names and the others are a poppy block and representatives of various RAE colour patches. This is all applique. Quilt as you go then the back added in one piece afterwards.

The request for the quilt is favourite colours green and blue, loves old books, planes and bike riding. I will applique a bike in black onto the American fabric. They are American. The candle is for someone special I will applique initials onto it. The candle block is the centre is of the quilt so you can see where I am going with it. It will have green as the binding too. Quilt as you go blocks with black to make them all the same size.
