I have no doubt in my mind that I am the luckiest person in the world. I have today received a couple of fabric parcels in the post today. The top picture is from Jodie Carleton. I have thanked her via e-mail and I think they would make for some fabulous quilts.
This parcel from Mae McPhee is an Aussie Hero supporter and does not have a computer and I have written a thank you letter and card and will be sending that to her via snail mail. I feel very blessed to have friends and be part of this very special community that helps support me in what I do. Thank you, both of you from the bottom of my heart.

Aussie Hero Quilt In Progress.
My batting arrived this morning so I am in full swing. This is another quilt as you go. The colours are not showing up correctly, the background to the appliqued planes is navy and white.
This is the other side of the blocks. The backgound is the same colour as the planes on the front.
This request is for a 7 year old grand child and the theme planes and military. I have made 4 simple plane outlines 2 of each plane in all different colours.

Aussie Hero Quilt Continued.
Still working on the quilt blocks, this time the Melbourne Demons block. The whole thing was getting a bit too busy so I have decided to make it simpler, I have made a top instead. 5 blocks in total, all appliqued with gold thread on the arm and neck band.
