Lovely Fabric Donation.

 On Friday my lovely friend Gina popped in and gave me these lovely fabrics to use for Aussie Heroes and my other charities, How lovely!

 This one is brushed cotton.

 Lovely fur fabric, This will make a very cute softie indeed.

Aussie Hero Quilt Finished.

This is the quilt finished. The request was for Queensland Reds, motorbikes, fishing, and camping.

Aussie Hero Quilt Continued.

 This is the quilt so far. This morning I cut and sewed the quilt top and this afternoon I made the drawings to be turned into appliques using fabric pens. The 4 straight edged pictures and the other drawings that represent his interests will be Vliesofix and cut out then ironed on and sewn into place.  The fishing will have red borders and the Queensland Reds will have black borders. His interests are motorbikes, fishing, camping and Queensland Reds.

Aussie Hero quilt in progress. It looks orangy in the photograph but is in fact red. 4 different red colours in this quilt, this is the base of it. I will be adding on black silhouette appliques of his likes and his team logo in white.
