One Lovely Blog Award.

The other day I received an email from Christine of MacDonald's Patch has nominated me for a One Lovely Blog Award. The purpose of this award is for bloggers to nominate fellow, mostly newer, bloggers that they wish to recognise. The goal is to bring attention to blogs that we think are "lovely" and enjoy reading. We hope others will enjoy reading these blogs also.
In order to accept the award, the nominated blogger must
Thank the person who nominated you and link back to them in your post.
Share seven facts about yourself.
Nominate 10 other bloggers for the award.
Thanks Christine for nominating me,

1. I started blogging to keep in touch with my family and friends, I am terrible at writing letters and phone calls, my blog lets them know that I am ok and still alive!

3. I am the eldest of 3 children.

4. I have 3 children.

5. I love cats!

Aussie Hero Quilt Continued.

Scrappy quilt top almost finished. Length is right just a tad too wide so I will have to trim it down. Next I will add the backing and a simple stitch in the ditch to hold it all together and a binding in black to frame it with.

Aussie Hero Quilt Finished.

Aussie Hero Quilt Finished. The request was for purple and lime.

Sewing Room.

This is my sewing space re configured to have some more sewing space. Yesterday at Spotlight using my $40 voucher I bought a sewing machine table.  This had been reduced to $99 from $149 and I bought some fabric as well. so the table actually cost me $60 a great saving. Since I don't close the door anyway I moved the large table out further to put in the sewing machine table.

Cakes And Quilts.

Mothers Day yesterday. Two lovely chocolate cakes.
Aussie Hero quilt finished. It is not purple but navy blue, for some reason it does not show the colours correctly.
Double sided. This quilt request is for a grand son, planes and military.
I got a lovely present of a white board with magnets for my sewing room. How lovely. Now I don't have to tape my notices on the door.
