Aussie Hero Quilt in Progress.

This is the  special request Aussie Hero quilt I am working on at the moment. I am working on it as a quilt as you go blocks adding as you go borders at the same time.
The request was for red white and blue with Aussie animals. The block in the middle is showing you the back.There will be 7 rows in total.

Free Bear Pattern.

Shiny Happy World has given us a free pattern for a polar fleece bear for charitable uses, so very very cute!

She has some really delightful patterns for polar fleece softies and quilts. I love them!

Sewing Blocks.

All done, This are all the blocks from the set I have been given and now have made so far. 20 blocks. 16 make a wheelchair lap quilt and the other 4 I will use on a cushion to match.

Now I will go through and make some more blocks using my own fabric for other quilting projects.

This is what I am making today. More blocks for the box and when it is full I will put them together for a charity quilt.

The back of the quilt has Thunderbirds, I love the bright colours on this.
