The House on the Side of the Hill is having a Teddy Bears Picnic, so I thought I would share with you one of my makes. This teddy now belongs to my husband, (as you know eveything I make I give away) This teddy is made out of a recycled bath mat. Click on the picture to be taken there.
My niece has requested a pink fairy chair, this is what i have come up with. All the things are bits and pieces I have bought from Savers. I bought this from Savers yesterday and will be turned into a fairy seat/footrest.
She loves pink, Her nick name is Pinky! these are an example of the pink treasures I have bought from Savers over the last couple of months. I have decided to go with a pattern repeat.
All the patterns have been put into groups. The string of beads and pearls in the centre of the group were necklaces and loose beads that have been re strung and have dictated the number of repeats.
The repeat pattern which is going around the top edge of the seat.
The pattern of the leaves and beads that is going around the sides of the seat.

Today I have devoted my time to the Aussie Hero Quilts and this is the quilt top I made.
This is the parcel I will be posting on Monday, the quilt top, 20 blocks and plenty of backing fabric. I have had a lovely time making them up.
Today I have been concentrating on the Aussie Hero Blocks. I have 20 finished to post first thing tomorrow.
This will be my first block for Aussie Hero Quilts. I have cut out the fabric to make 10 of these 9 patch blocks.
I am a Winner! Look at this lovely fabric I won from http://talesatwaynemanor.blogspot.com.au/. I will be using them for my Charity makes this year. So lovely and fresh and I adore the colours.
I bought this life sized baby doll and the brand new babygro from Savers yeasterday, total cost $8.00 and will help keep me motivated and make sure that the clothing and other baby bits I make for charity are the right size.
